For non-US passports, the visa fees are $30, $45, $60 and $90 (see here for details or use cost calculator).
For Hong Kong visa/permit: the cosular fee is $50 and $10 respectively; service fee is $8 more (i.e. $29.96 for regular, $45.96 for express and $61.96 for rush).
For document authentication, the cosular fee is $20 (general) or $40 (property related or commencial documents); service fee is $8 more (i.e. $29.96 for regular, $45.96 for express and $61.96 for rush). (Note: The consulate no longer provides same day pickup for property related or commencial documents since 2006/12/01).

1. Consular fees (charged by Chinese Consulate)

These fees are subject to changes by the Chinese consulate (visa fees are much lower than listed below for non-US passports). You will pay the actual cost if it is different from those listed below.

3. Service fee

2-year multiple visa costs $20 more. Same day pickup is not available.
Hong Kong visa or travel permit costs $8 more. If approval in Hong Kong needed, it may take 7-9 days.
Document authentication costs $8 more. Same day pickup is not available for business or property related authentication.
Chinese passport replacement, travel certificate: $50.
Pickup only: $15 per document/item.
Photo service: $12 for first applicant, $2 each for each additional. When you forget to include a photo with your visa application, you may email us and we take it to store and print for you.
International mail handling fee: $10.

To minimize your cost, we advise that you plan ahead and allow a minimal of 2-weeks time, so that you don't have to use the expensive express or rush services, or in case something goes wrong.

Same day pick When selecting "rush service", please note that the normal processing time is one business day. Based on your travel schedule and our staff schedule, we can provide "same day pickup" service: i.e., we submit and mail back your application the same day as we receive it, if your mail reaches us before 9:00am (8:30am March-June). There is no extra cost for this special handling, but you must contact us before mailing your application so that we can make proper arrangements, and provide your itinerary (required by consulate) to show your needs.

We advise you to contact us first if you are close to your travel date. We can give you advice to help you make the right choice, although sometimes that means we will make less money.

4. Supplemental document fee

Unlike our competition, we currently do not charge a fee for submitting supplemental documents. However, we ask you check against our web site and/or check list to avoid missing documents, which causes trouble to both you and us.

After you place an order online, you will be supplied a "check list". Please check against it before mailing. If your application package arrives at our office missing some documents or with errors, we will contact you and help you correct them.

We do our part by providing you with most updated and correct information, and you do your part by providing us with needed documents. Together we keep the extra load/cost associated with supplemental documents to an acceptable level so that we never have to charge a supplemental document fee.

To save your time and money, most supplemental documents may be submitted electronically. You scan or take a digital picture of your documents, email the image file to us, and we print them out for you. Please note that common problem for taking pictures of documents is that the image is too dark and the consulate would not accept. Faxed copies of passport, green card have low resolutions and are thus not acceptable.

5. Promotions

We currently offer 20% off basic service fee only (coupon code "LUCKY20"). Discount applies to every item (passport) in your order. You may use only one coupon code per order. Discount does not apply to charges like international mailing, photo service.

6. Method of payment

We accept money order, check and credit card payments. For express or rush service, please use money order or credit card. You may pay all fees as shown on the online order confrimation page in a single payment (money order or check should be made payable to "YWPW Services"). You may also choose to make two payments: pay the consular fee to "Chinese Consulate in Houston" (the consulate accepts money order only) and the rest to our agency.

Please note, if the payment is in check, documents may be mailed back to you after the check is cleared (5-7 business days). There is a $30 charge for a check that is returned. For credit card payment (paypal, Google Checkout), there is a 3.5% transaction fee. (why?)

Money order may be purchased at local post office ($1.05) or stores like Wal Mart.

7. Mailing address

The mailing address will be printed on the online order confirmation page. Please save a copy of the order confirmation for your record.
