The cost for Chinese visa application or document authentication through YWPW Chinese Visa Service consists of:
- Processing fees charged by the Chinese Consulate in Houston
- Cost of shipping passports/documents back to you (one shipping fee per order)
- Our service fee
There is no hidden cost. We accept payments in money order, check, or credit card/google checkout. You may pay all fees in a single payment, please see bottom of this page for details.

| Pickup service (passport, visa and other documents) |
- Your application has been submitted to the Chinese consulate in Houston by you or someone else. Houston consulate only.
- Our service fee is $20.00 per document, consulate fee is based on the type of document.
- You must submit an online order, check the box "pickup only" under the "Processing time", then put your pickup slip number in the "Note/comment" box. The fees will be calculated automatically when you submit.
- Shipping fee is calculated per order, i.e. you only pay one shipping fee even if you have multiple documents.
- If you want to know the total cost before submitting an order, please use Cost Calculator, which would include shipping cost.
- Please send us the original pickup slip (make a copy for yourself).If your case is urgent, you may scan and email to us. The consulate requires the original pickup slip so that they can avoid any issues that may arise later.

1. Shipping cost

Shipping fee is charged per order, not per passport.

2. Service fee
- for visa application, single to 1-year multiple, regular 4 working days $34.95
(with discount $27.96)
- express 2-3 working days costs $18 more, rush 1 working day $36 more.
- 2-year multiple visa costs $15 more.
- Hong Kong visa or travel permit costs $7 more. Usually takes 4 business days at the consulate. If approval in Hong Kong needed, it may take 7-9 days.
- Document authentication costs $7 more.
Same day pickup is not available for business or property related authentication.
- Pickup only: $20 per document/item.
- Photo service: $12 for first applicant, $2 each for each additional.
When you forget to include a photo with your visa application, you may email us and we take it to store and print for you.
- International mail handling fee: $10.
To minimize your cost, we advise that you plan ahead and allow a minimal
of 2-weeks time, so that you don't have to use the expensive express or rush
services, or in case something goes wrong.
3. Supplemental document fee
Unlike our competition, we currently do not charge a fee for submitting supplemental documents. However, we ask you check
against our web site and/or check list to avoid missing documents, which causes
trouble to both you and us.
After you place an order online, you will be supplied a "check list". Please check against it before mailing.
If your application package arrives at our office missing some documents or with errors, we will contact you and help you correct them.
We do our part by providing you with most updated and correct information, and
you do your part by providing us with needed documents.
Together we keep the extra load/cost associated with supplemental documents to an acceptable level so that we never have to charge a supplemental document fee.
To save your time and money, most supplemental documents may be submitted electronically. You scan or take a digital picture of your documents, email the image file to us, and we print them out for you. Please note that common problem for taking pictures of documents is that the image is too dark and the consulate would not accept.
Faxed copies of passport, green card have low resolutions and are thus not acceptable.
4. Promotions and discounts
You may use only one coupon code per order.
Discount applies to every item (passport) in your order.
Discount does not apply to charges like international mailing, photo service.
5. Method of payment
We accept money order, check and credit card payments.
For express or rush service, please use money order or credit card.
You may pay all fees as shown on the online order confrimation page
in a single payment
(money order or check should be made payable to "YWPW Services").
You may also choose to make two payments:
pay the consular fee to "Chinese Consulate in Houston"
(the consulate accepts money order only) and the rest to our agency.
Please note, payments must be received before we submit your application to the consulate or Secretary of State, unless special arrangements are made.
If the payment is in check, documents may be mailed back
to you after the check is cleared (5 business days).
There is a $30 charge for a check that is returned.
For credit card payment (paypal, Google Checkout), there is a 3.5% transaction fee. (why?)
Money order may be purchased at local post office ($1.10) or stores like Wal Mart.
6. Mailing address
The mailing address will be printed on the online order confirmation page.
Please save a copy of the order confirmation for your record.
