At YWPW Chinese Visa Service, we are doing the best to minimize the impact on your visa application.

Impact on your visa order

  1. Last update: Sept. 26, consulate operation completely returns to normal.
  2. Sept. 23, power restored, consulate will begin issuing visa tomorrow. Because of huge backup, consulate asked us only to submit orders close to travel date in the next few days.
  3. as of morning of Sept 22, power has not been restored to the consulate building.
  4. as of Sept. 19, the area of the consulate is having power restored, thus the consulate will have power in the next few days. The consulate is expected to return to normal service on Monday or Tuesday.
  5. By Monday, Sept. 15, about 30% of communities have power restored. YWPW Chinese Visa Service is among the luck ones. However, internet and phone services are not yet stable. If you need to contact us, the best way is by email.
  6. USPS and FedEx stopped mail service on Thursday, Sept. 11. USPS resumed services on Monday, Sept. 15. FedEx is resuming services on Sept. 16.
  7. The consulate opened for limited service on Wednesday, Sept. 17. The power in the area is still not restored.
  8. Orders submitted to the consulate on or before Tuesday, Sept. 9 have been picked up and mailed back on Friday, Sept. 12. If you do not see it in the USPS or FedEx online tracking system, please be patient.
  9. Orders submitted to the consulate between Wednesday and Friday, Sept. 10-12, please allow extra 2-3 days on top of the normal schedule.
  10. For incoming mails, please allow some extra time as mail carriers gradually getting to normal business. Once we receive your application, we will update you by email or phone (if internet is not available). We hope that the mail services to be normal by the end of the week (Sept. 19).
  11. All orders received after Sept. 19 should be on normal processing schedule. However, it is always better to allow some extra time.

You may make a single payment to us for consular fee, service fee and shipping.
