复印件与原件相符合的公证，英文叫原件的True Copy（有时候也叫certified copy），是为了证明复印件未经篡改，是与原件一模一样的，而且是完整的。
一般来说，在复印件上写上"true copy"的字样并由公证员签字盖章不能满足海牙认证的要求。对于复印件与原件相符合的公证，每个州都有相应的法律规定，一般都有特别的公证词，许多州甚至要求公证员亲自复印。
